摘要: There is considerable variation in the prevalence of comorbid conditions such as malnutrition, inflammation, cardiovascular disease, and bone disease among end-stage renal (ESRD) patients on maintenance hemodialysis. Besides traditional risk factors, these differences also arise from variability genetic factors gene-environment interactions. Recent publication human genome sequence through Human Genome Celera projects has provided a major impetus to field molecular genetics genomic medicine. This review provides broad overview recent developments this field, basic information terminology common use, explores impact variations or polymorphisms biological diversity.
