摘要: Bidirectional field emission devices (FEDs) and associated fabrication methods are described. A basic device includes a first unitary structure an adjacently positioned, second structure. The has cathode portion anode portion, while the portion. structures positioned such that opposes so electrons may flow by thereto again thereto. control mechanism defines whether is active, biasing voltages applied to define direction of current flow. Multiple applications exist for bidirectional FED. For example, FED DRAM cell discussed, as fabricating various devices.
