摘要: Polymorphisms in ADAM33 gene have been implicated susceptibility to the risk of childhood asthma. However, results remain controversial. We performed meta-analyses clarify relationship between them. Relevant articles were searched PubMed, Embase, Wanfang, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. The Odds ratio (OR) with 95% confidence interval (CI) was used assess strength associations. Fourteen studies five polymorphisms (F + 1, T1, T2, S2, V4) identified, involving 2687 cases 2996 controls. F + 1, T1 showed significant associations asthma risks overall Caucasian children, Asian Chinese respectively; however, these unstable sensitivity analysis. revealed stable among children dominant (OR = 2.00, CI = 1.40–2.87, P = 0.0002) codominant (OR = 3.06, CI = 1.71–5.50, models; cumulative meta-analyses, robust. Concerning S2 or V4 polymorphism, no observed. These findings demonstrate that polymorphism might be a potential susceptible predictor for children. Further functional this are warranted.
