摘要: Most surface waters of the post-mining landscape in Lusatia, Germany, are characterised by severe acidity (pH<3.0). To check leaf litter decay this environment, first stages processing were studied under laboratory conditions and breakdown rates determined long-term experiments situ. The exhibited leaching soluble compounds identical to neutral water. Microbial conditioning differed strongly acidic from control. In water intensive colonisation leaves fungi compensated for mass loss due leaching. Phenols, known inhibit fungal growth, could not be found bag showed very low (−k=0.0014–0.0037 d−1). Absence shredders moderate flow regime prevented fragmentation leaves. Precipitation ochre seemed microbial decomposers slow down decay. incomplete will lead a specific hyporheic environment with large interstices rapid growing sediments. This has considered restoration management streams landscape.
