摘要: Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) driven by intense beams of light ions offers the possibility for high gain target implosions. High implosions will be required to meet United States' defense applications ICF as well make an Energy (IFE) power plant economically viable option energy production in 21st century. Progress understanding generation and focusing ion has resulted record beam intensities.
