摘要: In Part 2, we discuss the challenges of keeping up with ‘literature,’ evidence-based medicine (EBM) in emerging economies and Neurosciences, two recent approaches to classifying evidence. We conclude by summarizing information from Parts 1 2 which suggest need critically re-appraise core elements EBM paradigm: (1) hierarchical ranking evidence, (2) randomized controlled trials or systematic reviews as gold standard for all clinical questions situations, (3) statistical tests that have become integral ‘measurements’ analyzing (4) re-incorporating a role evidence basic sciences pathophysiology. An understanding how cognitive processes influence decisions is also necessary improve practice. Emerging may modify design conduct research their settings. Like paradigms, must keep improving input grassroots remain beneficial.
