摘要: Sex differences in foraging ecology have been found a variety of taxa. We tested the hypothesis that breeding female wolverines (Gulo gulo), probably due to their smaller home ranges and higher energy demands because gestation lactation, are forced rely more on food caches carrion than other wolverines. The diet composition, as percentage occurrence, was estimated for four females six males non-breeding by analyzing scat samples, all collected eastern Finland. most important source human- wolfkilled moose (55%), while also comprised mountain hare (13%), domestic pig (13%) grouse (11%). Mountain (52%) utilized females. Moose (22%) (15%) were components diet. Our study highlights importance wolf-killed areas where density medium-sized ungulates is low.
