摘要: Abstract At least three different transfer RNAs are produced by in vitro processing of 30S ribosomal RNA which accumulates RNAase III − strains E. coli. Two these tRNAs, tRNA 2 Glu and 1 He , have previously been shown to be "spacer tRNAs"—that is, genes for their synthesis located rRNA transcription units between the cistrons 16S 23S rRNAs (Lund et al., 1976). The third whose sequences contained is 1B Ala . In addition 5S several other 4S fragments produced. Some may represent additional spacer tRNAs. One fragment, about 70 nucleotides long, arises from 5′ end 17S precursor rRNA. Four or five tRNAs hydrogen-bonded as we prepare it; one more also a tRNA. enzymes that process out associated with ribosomes, but can removed them washing 0.2 M NH 4 CI; required remain bound CI-washed ribosomes. Treatment purified produces 6-8S contain
