摘要: Glial cell lines (C6, a glioma and 9L, gliosarcoma) grown in vitro produce type 1 collagen which is detectable the extracellular matrix by immunocytochemistry. Northern blot analysis using cDNA specific for proalpha2 (I) chain of procollagen indicates presence single transcript with an apparent size 4.8 kb C6 line, whereas two transcripts sizes 5.8 are visualized 9L cells. The stimulatory effect ascorbic acid on production 20-27% increase concentration hydroxyproline culture medium from lines. Therefore these provide valuable model system comparative investigations regulation synthesis nonmesenchymal cells neuroepithelial origin.
