摘要: INTRODUCTION Aggressive forms of periodontitis lead to rapid bone destruction resulting in extensive losses children's and young adults' dentition. Adhesion molecule deficiency syndrome abnormalities the expression various adhesion molecules on peripheral blood leukocytes can be observed prepubertal aggressive (AP) patients. The aim study was thus assess selected cell (CAMs; CD11a, CD11b, CD11c, CD54, CD62L) monocytes, neutrophils, lymphocytes patients with AP. MATERIAL/METHODS involved 16 AP a control group 13 generally healthy subjects periodontium. CAM expressions were determined by flow cytometry presented as mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) percentage cells showing assessed molecules. RESULTS Neutrophil comparable those group. MFI CD62L monocytes significantly lower than that controls. Lymphocytes showed increased CD11b compared both groups similar. Only higher CONCLUSIONS Because evident lack differences between controls great amount individual dispersion results, above CAMs do not seem characteristic markers this disease.
