摘要: In this paper we describe a series of beam–surface scattering experiments which examine the internal and translational energy dependence molecular condensation probabilities for CCl4 or SF6 colliding with their respective condensed phases. It has been conclusively shown that thermal excitation polyatomic molecule’s rotational vibrational degrees freedom can inhibit its probability sticking upon impact cryogenically cooled surface. This effect is most pronounced in limit low incident kinetic energy, essentially vanishes at higher velocities. As part these experiments, have also obtained angular velocity distributions reflected Kr used to momentum exchange gases Our findings suggest heterogeneous laser isotope separation schemes based on precollision may warrant further investigation.
