摘要: Abstract Previous attempts to resolve the closely related taxanes cephalomannine and taxol by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) on octadecyl silica columns have not been successful. In present study, high-resolution HPLC microcolumns packed with was evaluated for separation of aforementioned taxanes. Due enhanced efficiency this technique, baseline resolution between readily achieved under isocratic elution conditions. Chromatographic profiles Taxus brevifolia twig needle foliage extracts are presented that illustrate separation.
