Chromatographic separation and spectrophotofluorometric determination of tocopherols using hydroxyalkoxypropyl Sephadex

摘要: Abstract The native fluorescence of the tocopherols was investigated and utilized in quantitative analysis. α-Tocopherol α-tocotrienol were separated from interfering fluorescent lipids, each other, other by chromatography on hydroxyalkoxypropyl Sephadex (HAPS). effluent column monitored passing it through a flow cell spectrophotofluorometer. Fractions eluate containing collected for subsequent fluorometric analysis dioxane. By this method α-tocopherol could be estimated with precision sensitivity pharmaceuticals saponified sometimes crude lipid extracts foods tissues.
