摘要: Thymic neoplasms constitute a broad category of rare lesions with wide spectrum pathologic characteristics and clinical presentations which therefore require high index suspicion to diagnose. The natural history the disease is seldom predictable, anywhere from an indolent aggressively malignant course. Although classification staging these are complex controversial, complete radical surgical resection remains gold standard therapy. Radiation chemotherapy important elements multimodality approach treating patients it for thoracic surgeons work closely their colleagues in other disciplines management future research endeavors thymic neoplasm. In this review, we discuss evaluation patient anterior mediastinal mass, neoplasms, role surgery, radiation disease, as well directions novel targeted therapies.
