Production of seedlings from ovules excised at the zygote stage in Lilium spp.

摘要: The present study was undertaken to establish a culture system for ovules excised at the zygote stage in Lilium spp. Ovules of × `Connecticut King' and L. `Enchantment' were together with placental tissue 3, 5, 10 days after pollination (DAP) cultured on B5 medium half-strength containing sucrose different concentrations. In vitro embryo development 3 DAP influenced by basal media concentration. 9% best condition, but only few isolated from developed into seedlings. Application culture, which embryos 14 weeks ovule-with-plancetal-tissue greatly improved production indicates that two-step procedure, ovule-with-placental-tissue make it possible produce seedlings just fertilization.
