摘要: Summary EGFR is involved in the epidermal growth factors pathway that regulates cellular processes and associated with development of many types cancer including colorectal cancer. EGFR-targeted could be an alternative option to improve clinical outcome tumors expression. This study aimed examine expression its prognostic value We investigated surgically resected tissue specimens 99 tissues for by immunohistochemistry staining (IHC). Medical records were reviewed set information. Results: detected 34 (34.3%) patients Neither age nor sex was correlated presence EGFR. There a statistically significant difference prevalence between early disease group (stage I-II) (25%) advanced III-IV) (75%) (p<0.01). A relationship also noted lymph node status (p=0.03). The related higher grade differentiation (p=0.05). Overexpression high initial serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) concentration (p=0.01), but no correlation carbohydrate (CA199) observed (p=0.25). In addition, had risk recurrence compared those negative (p=0.04). However, there overall survival (p=0.40). Our findings indicate correlate histoclinical may assist predicting
