摘要: We compared pituitary iodine-123 epide- pride single-photon emission tomography (SPET) and 123I-IBZM SPET for the in vivo imaging of dopamine D2 receptors 15 patients with clinically non-functioning adenomas. Four agonist-sensitive macroprolactinomas were studied as positive controls. The uptake radioactivity was established using a visual scoring system an index calculated by dividing average count rates area cerebellum. All four showed specific binding 123I-epidepride, but only one 123I-IBZM. Specific 123I-epidepride demonstrated 9 adenomas (60%), shown 6 these cases (40%). region consistently higher than that None who absence this area. In conclusion: is superior to visualization receptor-positive Therefore, should replace future receptor studies potentially might serve predict response agonist therapy.
