Tribological Properties of Lubricating Films on the Al-Si Alloy Surface via Laser Surface Texturing

摘要: Dimpled textures were prepared by using a pulse solid laser on the surface of Al-Si alloy. The combination texturing (LST) and MoS2 lubricant as well their tribological properties investigated in this article. obtained friction wear data critically analyzed to investigate how parameters texture influence performance Furthermore, morphological investigations transfer layers worn surfaces performed mechanisms are discussed. results show that LST improves characteristics coefficient alloy: steel pairs can be reduced 0.15 under dry friction. lubrication mechanism is attributed synergetic effect providing traps debris dimples. It was found optimum density structure 37% for excellent properties.
