摘要: Nitric oxide has recently been implicated in mediation of neuronal excitotoxicity and damage. This study aimed at elucidating the changes expression isoform nitric synthase (nNOS) hippocampus after status epilepticus induced by perforant pathway stimulation. nNOS-immunoreactivity (nNOS-ir) damage, assessed silver staining, were evaluated separately different hippocampal subfields 2 weeks induction epilepticus. Perforant stimulation resulted an increase number nNOS-immunoreactive neurons stratum radiatum CA1 CA3 proper, hilus dentate gyrus. The morphology distribution nNOS-ir resembled that interneurons. No correlation to damage score was observed. Our results suggest provokes a de novo nNOS protein, expressing may be selectively resistant epileptic brain injury.
