Biochemical markers of hepatic fibrosis in primary biliary cirrhosis

摘要: We studied the behavior of some biochemical markers fibrosis, aminoterminal propeptide type III procollagen (P-III-P), laminin, hyaluronate and fibronectin, in sera patients with primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC). Significant increases were found serum P-III-P and, more important, a significant correlation was between histological stage disease hyaluronate. This parameter seems to distinguish early PBC (I II stages) advanced fibrosis. Moreover, levels both laminin observed. Serum however, particularly disease, whereas high sP-III-P are already present stage. Finally, no differences plasma fibronectin those controls.
