摘要: Schwann cells are the primary cell type in disfiguring lesions associated with neurofibromatosis 1 (NF-1). These also contain abnormally high numbers of mast cells, a which develops response to stem factor. We report here that neonatal and adult rat human as well transfected line Schwannoma derived from an NF-1 patient, all produced factor mRNA protein. In coculture experiments, surface expression by was profoundly downregulated contact dorsal root ganglion neurites. The receptor for factor, KIT, not expressed normal but line, suggesting aberrant KIT may form autocrine loop certain neoplasias. © 1994 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
