Abnormal regulation of in vitro IgG production in multiple sclerosis

摘要: A pokeweed mitogen-stimulated IgG synthesis assay was used to evaluate T suppressor cell function in peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) obtained form multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. Autochthonous cultures of fractionated and recombined MS B cells exhibited less suppression than similar PBL from control subjects. No difference occurred the levels among patients grouped according disease states. When allogenic normal or were compared autochthonous cells, no differences observed. The results suggest that lower observed autologous are not a result dysfunction alone.
