摘要: A great range of life histories are observed among mammals. Understanding why different species age at rates may provide clues about the mechanistic and genetic basis aging. This work focuses on animal their use in comparative studies Firstly, I debate how to compare aging across species, including physiological parameters statistical analyses. Afterwards, a selection for biology is suggested. Taking into account that ultimate aim research benefit people, my largely based primates. Primates feature such vast phenotypes need not employ other more distant except perhaps few rodents. number serve as models antiaging strategies also presented. Examples include appear age, some turtles, animals featuring regenerative mechanisms absent from humans. Studying molecular these traits have potential implications research. Sequencing genome should then be priority.
