摘要: Astrocytomas are the most common primary tumor affecting adult central nervous system (CNS). Owing to their diffusely infiltrative nature, there currently no effective therapies. New approaches targeting signal transduction pathways in astrocytomas offering some hope for treatment. This article will review different model systems that can be used identify new therapeutic targets and test effectiveness against astrocytoma.
