摘要: Biospectroscopy has the potential to investigate and characterise biological samples could, therefore, be utilised diagnose various diseases in a clinical environment. An important consideration spectrochemical studies is cost-effectiveness of substrate used support sample, as high expense would limit their translation into clinic. In this paper, performance low-cost aluminium (Al) foil substrates was compared with commonly low-emissivity (low-E) slides. Attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy analyse blood plasma serum from women endometrial cancer healthy controls. The two populations were differentiated using principal component analysis vector machines (PCA-SVM) 100% sensitivity (endometrial cancer=70; controls=15) both Al low-E slides substrates. same results (100%) achieved for cancer=60; controls=15). Specificity found higher (90%) comparison (85%) lower (70%) samples. establishment highly-performing pave way large-scale, multi-centre potentially routine use.
