摘要: We studied the influence of codon context on UGA suppression by a suppressor tRNA and readthrough normal in Escherichia coli. This was done series constructs where only immediate TGA varied one nucleotide at time. For both had similar according to following rules. (1) The nature immediately adjacent 3' side is an important determinant; that position level translation influenced nucleotides order A greater than G C U. (2) At extremely high or low levels this not seen. (3) In all cases, 5' base have little effect, if any, translation. varying effect discussed relation its role gene expression.
