摘要: Abstract Studying neural networks in vivo is very laborious due to the location and immense complexity of central nervous system. Therefore, neuronal cell culture models have become important tools study development vitro. We introduce a technique called direct laser writing (DLW) by two-photon polymerization (2PP) as feasible method for fabrication microstructures studying growth guidance. As human pluripotent stem cells (hPSC) can be differentiated into several types, such neurons, astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, they are promising source models. In this study, three novel designs neurocage were fabricated first time 2PP. proof concept, two seeded with hPSC derived attachment, migration directed neurite growth. Although structures could not confine preliminary tests showed that neurons had tendency migrate towards microstructures. addition, guidance properties appeared inside cages readily extended their processes along channels.
