摘要: The development of heterologous transposon tagging systems has been an important objective for many laboratories. Here, we demonstrate the use a Dissociation (Ds) derivative maize transposable element Activator (Ac) to tag DRL1 locus Arabidopsis. drl1 mutant shows highly abnormal with stunted roots, few root hairs, lanceolate leaves, and enlarged, disorganized shoot apex that does not produce inflorescence. mutation was shown be tightly linked transposed Ds, somatic instability observed in presence transposase source. Some plants showing reversion flowered produced large numbers wild-type progeny. These revertant progeny always inherited allele from which Ds had excised. Analysis changes DNA sequence induced by insertion excision showed they were typical those Ac maize.
