摘要: A review is presented of experimental information pertaining to the characteristics a procedure designed quantitate capacity for self-renewal in clonogenic cells human acute myeloblastic leukemia. In series 44 previously untreated patients, significant correlation ( p < 0.01) was seen between low and successful remission induction. Three cytotoxic drugs (Adriamycin, 1-β-d-arabinofurano-sylcytosine, N -[4-(19-acridinylamino)-3-methoxyphenyl]-methanesulfonamide) were tested preferential effect against events. Surviving these agents had, respectively, unchanged, lower, higher self-renewal. The implications such drug properties are discussed.
