Characteristics of porous polycarbonate membrane with polyethylene glycol in supercritical CO2 and effect of its porosity on tearing stress

摘要: Abstract Polycarbonate (PC) membranes with high tearing stress and porosity could be prepared in supercritical CO2. Effect of polyethylene glycol (PEG) concentration, membrane thickness, temperature, pressure on the were investigated. The porous was at inversion conditions 15 MPa pressure, 45 °C over 20 min, to enhance both stress. Porosity 10 μm thickness 72% 70, 67, 66, 62%, respectively, an increasing 20, 30, 40, 50 μm. 62% 390 g cm−1 increased from 398 478 g cm−1 66 72%. It observed that relationship between close should increase order polycarbonate structure.
