摘要: We determined the baseline frequency distribution of mutant alleles genes associated with resistance to chloroquine and sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine in Plasmodium falciparum isolates Bangui, Central African Republic. Mutant P. transporter (pfcrt) gene were found all samples deduced CIET pfcrt haplotype was high (45%). The most common allele multidrug 1 (pfmdr1) among field 86Y (21.9%). 1246Y also (18.0%). Of 167 which dihydrofolate reductase studied, only 11 carried wild-type (6.6%) whereas many (50.3%) quadruple mutants (50R, 51I, 59R, 108N). 436A dihydropteroate synthase (74.3%), but frequencies 437G (18.6%) 540E (5.2%) low. Molecular analyses antimalarial drug-resistant Bangui strongly suggest widespread pyrimethamine a lesser extent sulfadoxine resistance.
