摘要: Retroperitoneal fibrosis, a disease that can occur at any age, is characterized by periaortic fibrous mass often surrounds the ureters, leading to ureteral obstruction. Patients who present with this may complain of flank pain and acute renal failure. There high correlation atherosclerotic aorta, although pathogenesis remains unknown. Although recommendations for therapy remain empiric, prednisone seems be efficacious in treatment; tamoxifen also effective. fibrosis usually does not lead long-term morbidity or affect survival.
