摘要: Extramedullary involvement is considered to be an uncommon presentation of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), although some data suggest it may present in up 30% patients. Extra-medullary by AML can a variety clinical manifestations, most notably the form sarcoma, cutis, and central nervous system involvement. Each presents unique scenario terms symptoms management. disease any presenting without evidence bone marrow still systemic usually treated as such. Most commonly, extramedullary concurrently with disease, require additional local therapy intrathecal chemotherapy or radiation, principles treatment remain unchanged. The prognostic impact unclear. Specifically, whether hematopoietic stem cell transplantation should first remission irrespective other factors has not been established. Patients who undergo have similar outcomes patients they do higher rate relapse. More research needed define molecular basis for its impact, optimal
