摘要: Functional behavioral assessment (FBA) and functional analyses (FA) are grounded in the applied behavior analysis principle that posits problem is functionally related to environment which it occurs maintained by either providing access reinforcing outcomes or allowing individual avoid escape they find aversive. Previous research has pointed limitations across FBA methodologies comparison direct experimental trials used FA. The purpose of this study was evaluate degree hypotheses generated common strategies (i.e., interview, rating scale, observation) match through FA trials. Results a multiphase descriptive indicated traditional school personnel with expertise were able generate later confirmed independent review largely aligned outcomes. impact findings for field implications future practice discussed.
