摘要: Gram-negative bacteria are responsible for a high proportion of nosocomial infections, particularly among the critically ill and those in hospital long periods. Colonization (asymptomatic carriage on skin) occurs before emergence overt clinical infection (appearance signs symptoms disease) is therefore worth reducing. Spread principally via hands staff, so handwashing chief method prevention. survive best moist environment more readily transferred damp than dry surfaces; equipment should be kept as possible. Good skin can also help prevent cross-infection colonize damaged if it good condition.
