摘要: Abstract Although the biochemical mechanisms relating to inhibitory action of eicosapentaenoic acid on platelet function have previously been investigated in washed suspensions, there is little existing evidence suspensions indicate that dietary fish oil consumption reduces aggregation responses. In present work, eight healthy male volunteers consumed 20 capsules (MaxEPA) per day for a period six weeks followed by week “dry-out” during which no was consumed. Washed were prepared and responses collagen, activating factor (PAF), thrombin assessed initially at 0 subsequently 3, 6, 9, 12 experimental period. Three did not produce any marked alterations responses; however, supplementation resulted decreased maximum collagen PAF 50.1% 27.2%, respectively. These results provide evidence, significantly diminishes PAF. The significance these observations remains be explored interpreted.
