摘要: The heparin-binding growth factor, MK, promoting tumorigenesis and survival was found to associate with α6β1 integrins. We showed for the first time that MK interacted TSPAN1 facilitated association between integrin proteins in head neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) cells. mediated an integrin-dependent tyrosine phosphorylation of FAK activation paxillin Stat1α pathways. As result, downstream target genes implicated migration invasiveness (e.g. MMP-2 MMP-26) were overexpressed. observed RNAi silencing critical signaling intermediates led decrease MK-induced migration/invasiveness HNSCC major finding this study is a novel MK-triggered mechanism
