摘要: The evolutionarily conserved neoplastic tumor suppressor protein, Lethal (2) giant larvae (Lgl), plays roles in cell polarity and tissue growth via regulation of the Hippo pathway. In our recent study, we showed that developing Drosophila eye epithelium, depletion Lgl leads to increased ligand-dependent Notch signaling. lgl mutant also exhibits an accumulation early endosomes, recycling early-multivesicular body markers acidic vesicles. We elevated signaling lgl− can be rescued by feeding vesicle de-acidifying drug chloroquine, revealing attenuates limiting acidification. Strikingly, chloroquine overgrowth phenotype, suggesting pathway defects were rescued. this extraview, provide additional data on endocytosis Lgl, discuss possible mechanisms which contributes defects...
