摘要: Gastric cancer (GC) remains a leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, even though decrease in its incidence and mortality rate has been observed recent decades. Although the intestinal GC declined gradually, diffuse gastric (DGC) remained stable. Most GCs are sporadic seem to result from cumulative effects different environmental risk factors; smoking, alcohol consumption, dietary habits have addressed as important factors. Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) infection gene polymorphisms proinflammatory cytokines represent other features this process that leads development GC. influence genetic predisposition not yet determined fully, familial clustering reported 10% 30%. Genetic factors play fundamental role genesis well-defined autosomal dominant syndrome termed Hereditary Diffuse Cancer (HDGC) associated with histotype caused by germline mutations E-cadherin (CDH1) accounts for 1% all cases.
