摘要: We have generated solutions to the Lamm equation examine effects of concentration dependence on velocity experiments. Two forms c are considered: s/s0 = 1 – kc and (1 + kc)−1. Features these discussed. The magnitude errors resulting from usual procedure measuring rate movement schlieren maxima or position at which is one half plateau value been examined. These usually negligible after sufficient centrifugation time. in using half-plateau less than those peak. also examined a technique due Fujita for determining D boundary spreading when (1+kc)−1. This method satisfactory actually this form, under certain limitations Creeth has shown that conditions gradient, curve remains virtually unchanged shape separating meniscus. When occurs it possible estimate s/D data. condition such steady state kc0 be sufficiently large. Numerical confirmation presented final section.
