Periodontal status of patients with abnormalities of the immune system. II. Observations over a 2-year period.

摘要: Patients with IgA deficiency and agammaglobulinemia were pair-matched to immunocompetent subjects by age Plaque Index. Clinical examinations performed initially after 2 years included the Index, Gingival Periodontal Disease caries experience (DMF-T) full mouth radiographie surveys. Therapy during 2-year period oral hygiene instructions, prophylaxis indicated restorative treatment. Immunodeficient patients manifested consistently lower levels of gingival inflammation than matched at both examination periods.
