摘要: Chemical investigation of the vines and leaves Momordica charantia resulted in isolation fourteen cucurbitane triterpenoids, kuguacins F-S (1-14), including two pentanorcucurbitacins (6 7), one octanorcucurbitacin (8), trinorcucurbitacins (11 12), along with six known analogues. Their structures were elucidated on basis extensive spectroscopic single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. Compounds 1-14 exhibited weak anti-HIV-1 activities vitro. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd.
