摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and efficacy combined treatment with hepatic interstitial brachytherapy (HIB) arterial infusion (HAI) chemotherapy after interventional implantation port catheter systems. Thirty-three patients unresectable “liver-only” metastases colorectal cancer were treated both HIB HAI during course their disease. All 33 had recurrent disease 27 received previous chemotherapy. Of these, 15 first then consolidated HIB, 9 started continued HAI, subsequently progression. Patients evaluated for characteristics, side effects, efficacy. Comparisons between groups also performed. median tumor diameter 4.6 cm (range: 1–12 cm). minimal irradiation dose inside margin 18 Gy administered a mean two in 69 interventions. Minor (n = 4) major 3) complications occurred 10% WHO grade III adverse events regional observed seven patients; IV, one patient. At follow-up 28 months 7–74 months), time progression 10.5 1–35 months). 138 by brachytherapy, 16 local recurrences seen (mean, 12.3 months; range, 3–45 No signs failure any our patients. In conclusion, combinations minimally invasive therapeutic methods are feasible, acceptable complication rates, provide promising results metastases.
