摘要: Colorectal cancer remains a major cause of mortality in the Western world. A limited number studies has been conducted respect Her-3 and Her-4 expression their correlation with clinical parameters prognosis colorectal carcinomas . In this study we sought to determine pattern prognostic significance HER-3 HER-4 adenocarcinoma. We studied protein in106 paraffin embedded specimens primary tumors using immunohistochemistry. The levels were correlated several pathological parameters. staining displayed membranous cytoplasmic 18 (17%) 30 samples (28,3%), respectively. was found 20 (18,9%) 32 (30,2%), Specimens regarded as positive for associated moderate tumor grade (p = 0,032) older median age 0,010). involved lymphnodes 0,0003). Similar results obtained when considering irrespective cellular localization. There no between patients outcome. predict lymph nodes positivity cohort cancer.HER-4 status may identify aggressive biological behavior increased metastatic potential.
