摘要: Iron-coated Nd-Fe-B composite powder was prepared by thermal decomposition of iron pentacarbonyl in an inert organic solvent the presence alkylamine. Though this method is based on a modified solution-phase process to synthesize highly size-controlled nanoparticles, it turn featured suppressed formation nanoparticles achieve efficient coating solely onto surfaces rare-earth magnet powder. The magnetic successfully coated shells whose thicknesses were order submicrometer micrometer, being tuneable amount initially loaded reaction flask. reached more than 10 wt.% initial powder, which practically sufficient fabricate Nd-Fe-B/α-Fe nanocomposite permanent magnets.
