摘要: Endothelial cells, which line the interior walls of blood vessels, proliferate at site vessel injury. Knowledge factors that control proliferation these cells would help elucidate role endothelial in wound healing, tumor growth, and arteriosclerosis. In vitro, organize into viable, three-dimensional tubular structures environments limit cell proliferation. The process organization was found to result decreased levels sis messenger RNA transcript increased for fibronectin. This situation reversed on transition from organized structure a proliferative monolayer. These results suggest reciprocity two biological response modifiers involved regulation differentiation vitro.
