ERP benefits capability framework: orchestration theory perspective

摘要: ERP benefits can be classified as automation, planning and innovation benefits. This research aims to answer two questions: (1) what are the resources organizational complementary (OCRs) required achieve each group of benefits? (2) on basis its resources, when should an organization invest more in and/or OCRs so that potential value is realised? Evidence from studying 12 organizations different countries validating results with 8 consultants has been drawn upon develop Benefits Realisation Capability Framework, showing requires (classified into features, attached technologies IT department competences) practices, attitudes, culture, skills characteristics) leaping ahead gain before being mature enough realising a firm’s automation capabilities could waste time effort. used benchmark for designing various blueprints groups investments.
