摘要: SUMMARY Enhanced thermoelectric performance, expressed in terms of the figure merit (ZT), has been predicted theoretically for low-dimensional electronic systems under appropriate experimental conditions. ZT observed experimentally within 2D quantum wells PbTe, and good agreement between theory experiment obtained. The advantages applications are described, prospects further enhancement discussed.
