摘要: Adaptive management is the pathway to effective conservation, use and of Australia’s coastal catchments waterways. While concepts adaptive are not new, applications involving both assessment responses indeed limited at national regional scales. This paper outlines components a systematic framework for linking scientific knowledge, existing tools, planning approaches participatory processes achieve healthy partnerships between community, industry, government agencies science providers overcome institutional barriers uncoordinated monitoring. The developed by Coastal CRC (www.coastal.crc.org.au/amf/amf_index.htm) hierarchical in way it displays information allow associated frameworks be integrated, represents construct which processes, information, decision tools outcomes brought together structured transparent catchment management. proposes how an approach could used benefit implementation Reef Water Quality Protection Plan (RWQPP).
