Non-lot based method for assembling integrated circuit devices

摘要: An inventive method tracks IC devices through the assembly steps in a manufacturing process. Prior to die attach, laser scribe marks lead frame of each with coded hole matrix that gives device unique ID code. During an optical reader retrieves code devices, and computer system stores retrieved codes association lot numbers ICs attached frames. The are then read at step so can be tracked individually, rather than by lots. As result, proceed more efficient, continuous manner (i.e., without breaks between lots).
